The trainer represents a small adult, making it ideal for practicing more difficult approaches and for training purposes. It's a great trainer for introductory and advanced students. It includes head mounted to a sturdy stand, lungs, stomach, pump spray lubricant, and hard carry case. Features durable, rugged, onepiece construction and bifurcated lungs.
Trainers simulate nonanesthetized patients for practicing intubation, ventilation, suction, and CPR techniques. Realistic anatomy and landmarks including teeth, tongue, oral and nasal, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids, false cords, true vocal cords,trachea, lungs, esophagus, and stomach. Allow practice of oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube® and King System insertion. Suction techniques and proper cuff inflation may be practiced and evaluated. Features durable, rugged, onepiece construction and bifurcated lungs. Manual carotid pulse. Applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage changes the position of the trachea and closes the esophagus, allowing realistic practice of the Sellick maneuver. Jaw thrust technique can also be practiced.
