The Ossur Patriot Extrication Collar is a pre-hospital cervical collar that immobilizes the neck for emergency transport or routine care. Quick and easy to use, this Össur immobilization collar can be applied with an adjustable Velcro hook and loop system that can be applied in seated or reclined positions. The Patriot Collar comes in two height-adjustable models designed for adult and pediatric use.
Ideal for emergency medical technicians, paramedics, nurses and anyone who needs to immobilize a patients's cervical spine for transport or care. This one piece collar is made from durable polyethylene, is latex-free and is MRI and X-Ray lucent. A heat- and moisture-minimizing rear ventilation panel accomodates spinal palpitation while the large trachea opening allows for carotid pulse monitoring and tracheotomies.
